About the Client

Heartwood are a leading forestry contractor, providing tree surgery and forestry services to a wide range of clients, from government organisations like National Rail, to private individuals. They were looking to use their website as a key tool in gaining new contracts, with a professional look and feel that still felt approachable.

While Heartwood already had a logo, the brand needed expanding out into colours, fonts and styles that they could use across media and platforms.

A key part of this branding was the sketch-style leaf graphics that sit behind some of the content areas on the website.

Not only do these provide texture and interest as someone is browsing, they’re also a visual link back to the heart of what Heartwood are all about.

UX

With a really varied target audience, it was important that there was suitable content and clear pathways to Heartwood’s different services and sectors.

We also wove testimonials throughout the website, ensuring key pages were supported by relevant testimonials from clients.

This helps to provide on-page social proof for visitors, reinforcing Heartwood’s professionalism and experience.
