Modern Slavery Act

Modern slavery includes slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, and human trafficking. Everyone has a duty to remain vigilant to potential risks, no matter how minor, within our business and throughout our supply chain. Employees are expected to stay aware of these risks and raise any concerns, while management is responsible for addressing and acting on those concerns.

Organisation structure and supply chains

Edge of the Web is a Limited Company registered and operating from Warwick, UK. We employ approximately 10 members of staff.

All design, development and digital marketing services are provided by Edge of the Web by our in-house team.

We do not outsource work or use contractors.

Policies in relation to slavery and human trafficking

Our company is committed to conducting all business with honesty and integrity.

We maintain a strict zero-tolerance stance against modern slavery in all its forms, including slavery, servitude, human trafficking, and forced labour. We are dedicated to acting ethically, transparently, and with integrity, while implementing robust systems and controls to prevent any instance of modern slavery within our operations or supply chain.

We comply with all laws aimed at preventing modern slavery in every jurisdiction where we operate. In addition, we are bound by UK legislation, including the Modern Slavery Act 2015, which applies to our conduct both domestically and internationally.

Any employee who violates our Modern Slavery Policy will face disciplinary action, which may include dismissal for misconduct or gross misconduct. Similarly, we reserve the right to end our relationship with any individual or organisation acting on our behalf if they fail to comply with this policy.

Due diligence processes

As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk we:

  • Keep our services in-house, without using external providers or suppliers.

  • A competitive salary, depending on your current skill set and experience.

  • 23 days of holiday per year (plus bank holidays), as well as your birthday off.

  • Contributory pension scheme.

  • Remote working 4 days per week.

  • Flexible working hours.

Risk review and management

Edge of the Web perform an annual review of our Modern Slavery Policy to ensure policies and procedures are up to date with current legislation.

Key performance indicators to measure effectiveness of steps being taken

We ensure 100% adherence to our Modern Slavery Policies by prohibiting the use of external contractors or outsourcing of work.
