Simpact Mockup

The Challenge

With more than 10 years between redesigns, Simpact had changed significantly as a business, but the website hadn’t kept pace. Not only did the website need a fresh, modern look, faster loading speed and better usability, it also needed a complete rethink of the content.

Content planning

While a lot of the original content could be repurposed, the website urgently needed a new sitemap and structure, based around the skills and services that clients are looking for.

This meant that we could create unique pages covering key capabilities and show the full range of Simpact’s expertise, while also enabling users to drill down to the specific information that they wanted to know.

UX

As well as the new sitemap, we wanted to create a clear user journey, and enable users to reach content that had previously been siloed.

By having cross referencing sections, for example, listing relevant Capabilities on the Services pages and vice versa, we gave users the freedom to navigate according to their specific interests. But it also enabled us to show the depth and breadth of Simpact’s experience and expertise.

An architecture that delivers with speed and simplicity

This website is built with a headless CMS architecture powered by Strapi, alongside a monolithic client portal storing large files on a dedicated AWS server.

By creating separate entities for content management, the client portal and file storage, and the website itself, we were able to create an incredibly fast experience for front end users.

A website engineered for success

With a faster, more powerful website and a clean, modern design, Simpact’s online presence now lives up to their own impressive reputation.

Not only does it look great, it performs fantastically too, providing the user experience that their clients expect and deserve.
