About the Client

PoM925 is a UK-based designer and wholesaler of hand-made sterling silver jewellery and accessories. They supply independent retailers across the UK, Europe and beyond, offering stylish, wearable collections underpinned by strong ethical values. PoM925 needed a modern ecommerce platform that reflected their brand, reduced admin through ERP automation, and delivered a smoother experience for their wholesale customers.

The Challenge

PoM925’s existing ecommerce platform had reached end-of-life and was due for an upgrade. While it had served the business well, the technology was outdated and no longer aligned with their evolving needs. The user experience needed modernisation, and the existing setup required duplicate data entry across the website and ERP system.

Content management was limited, and order syncing delays occasionally led to stock and fulfilment issues.

A more efficient, scalable solution was needed.

We delivered a clean, contemporary visual identity that reflects PoM925’s brand and the quality of their jewellery. The design elevates the customer experience while providing a consistent visual language across all touchpoints.

With a focus on clarity, elegance, and usability, the new look supports both everyday browsing and promotional moments like seasonal launches.

Under the Hood

We designed a modern headless architecture designed for performance, scalability, and seamless data flow.

Technologies

The frontend is powered by Next.js, delivering fast, responsive user experiences.

For the backend, we used Laravel with Lunar for ecommerce functionality, paired with PayloadCMS for flexible content management.

To integrate with Khaos Control, we developed custom SQL reports and used Khaos’s scheduled tasks functionality to regularly generate CSV files. These files are exported to PoM925’s local server within a Dropbox folder. Our Laravel backend uses the Dropbox API to fetch and process these CSV files, updating the website database with product details, stock levels, and orders.

A separate service retrieves product images directly from Dropbox. It uses the image filenames, which correspond to product codes, to accurately link images to their respective products.

Orders placed on the website are sent back to Khaos Control using webhooks, ensuring stock and customer data stay accurate in real time. This automated, decoupled architecture provides reliability, flexibility, and scalability.
