Edge of the Web are delighted to announce the launch of a brand new mobile app for CJ’s Events Warwickshire, which we’re expecting to transform how people engage with their local markets.
Who are CJ’s Events?
CJ’s Events are the leading operator and manager of local markets and events in the Warwickshire area.
But their mission is to do more than just organise, they go the extra mile to ensure that they’re giving their traders and their customers the very best experience.
That journey started with a new online system for traders to apply for markets. Instead of having to call or email, and send paperwork back and forth, traders can now sign up and apply online, uploading any documentation they need easily and quickly.
This new system made life much easier for traders - but CJ’s weren’t stopping there.
Now they wanted to create something that helped and rewarded customers too.
About the app
The core idea behind the new app was to give visitors to markets the ability to find out more about where and when they were, and to give them a little incentive to attend too.
Finding events
The app provides a list of upcoming events which can be refined by location, date or event type. But as well as the list, it also has a helpful map view, so that you can see events that might be close by.
Favourite traders
You can also see details of the traders at each event, and if it’s a trader you really love, you can see all their upcoming events on their profile.
Notifications and updates
Sign up for updates about your favourite events so you never miss your favourite market - and know if they get cancelled too.
Offers and discounts
The CJ’s app is about more than just getting information about markets, it’s also a brilliant way to get deals and offers when you go.
Traders can add offers, deals and discounts to their application, which then get pulled through to the app. Offers are exclusive to app users, so we have security measures in place to ensure they can’t be shared via screenshots.
And customers can get freebies and money off when they show their in-app discount screen to a vendor!
Just in time for Christmas!
The app has been launched just in time for one of CJ’s biggest annual markets, the Warwick Victorian Evening and Christmas light switch-on.
