What I do well

I listen and I keep my promises. My job is to manage the relationship between our company and our customers. I listen to what our customers want, and I listen when our team tell me they can do. I then make sure both sides understand what is going to happen.

Providing excellent customer service is all about managing expectations.

  • If you deliver a good service but you had promised something even better, the customer is going to be disappointed.
  • If you take longer than you promise, the customer is probably going to be disappointed.
  • If you build something amazing in pink but the customer really wanted red, they are going to be disappointed.

We are different to every other web development company because we don't just write "we value our customers" in a well intentioned yet empty way all over our website. I come to the office and deliver on that promise every day.

What I do badly

I don't think I'll ever be as technically minded as some of the team. I think an important part of your personality has to die before it all completely makes sense. It helps me talk on a level with most of our customers at least.

About me

I'm a life-long vegetarian. I don't object to meat, in fact I make a cracking bacon sandwich. I just don't eat it.

I'm really interested in nutrition and alternative therapies. I recently completed a course in massage and therapy, and now I have more "friends" then ever!

I live in Milton Keynes, actually a small market town called Stony Stratford just outside it. So it's quite a hike for me into work every day... which requires a fair amount of carbon offsetting I'm afraid. Still, at least I am helping the oil rich nations keep the world cup from my doorstep... did I mention I don't like football? (See annoyed West Ham supporting boyfriend for details.)
