Last night, I did something silly. I dyed my own hair. Rather than spend (what I thought at the time) unnecessary money letting a professional do it, I thought it would be easy enough to do it myself. What a mistake this was and as a result, I now have a barnet which is bright red at the roots and dark red everywhere else. So now I have to spend MORE money at the salon and I have wasted the £8 I spent on my DIY kit. Lesson learnt.
After I wiped the tears away from my eyes and the red dye from my forehead, I began to think about those who build their own websites using a DIY package. I speak to at least one customer every day who says they have tried to build a website but they think it looks unprofessional, is not very user friendly and to be frank, admit to not having a clue how websites should be designed.
So I from now on, I say that DIY should be left to home improvements and everything else should be done by the pros.

Funny story, but you are right. Sometimes if you want to get a quality result you need a professional to do the work. Especially with websites, they can be a real nightmare to build on your own.
