I got “learned”

Last night, a very old man beat me at squash.

Squash is a high impact and physically tough game, it’s all about power and pace.

The old man had no pace, and very little power.

But he didn’t half make me look stupid.

I’d like to say there is a really valuable web design related metaphor hidden in the story.

But there isn’t.

Perhaps by the time my children are 12 I’ll have thought of one.

Or at least a good excuse.

Perhaps it was a nicely framed reminder to never under-estimate anyone.
